I'll try to keep on top of the shower of spam tonight (although the most recent one for Propecia, I'm a user, was tempting).

Wow! What is up with the Bo Diddley pills and kitten worm medicine? That must be some drug store.

You mean that gorgeous head of hair of yours, Rich, is not a natural propagation?

I both pop and spritz "hair remedies." Impossible to say how well they work unless you stop using them.

Goldie,I'm sure there's something in Mr. Spammer's little black bag for big kitty too. She has to take it once a day with Ed Hardy jeans. Oops, thats spam. Sorry. Great show tonight and it was Jessie Matthews Rich was talking about earlier from the movie, "Evergreen". I've seen it and it's not bad but I have to say we made better musicals at that time.

An 'inconvenient truth' with so many appearance-enhancing products!

Isn't it a shame that Jesse Matthews and Fred Astaire never danced together?

And we still make better musicals, no? :)

And here is "the count" for tonight;

George M. Cohan - 4
Jack Hylton - 7
Dick Robertson - 8
Maceo Pinkard - 12
Adrian Rollini - 13
Richard Rodgers - 14

They add up to more than the number of records, but that's from Hylton playing Rodgers, etc.

I tried cutting corners on show prep tonight. I was still putting the 7/11 show together this morning (which is why I'll have to be here until after 1 recording). Instead of looking up songs on the ASCAP site, I just pulled some likely titles from the "Kinkle" books. I figured it was pointless to pull a dozen records for each writer, when I'll be lucky to play four or five. But they're all so strong, it should work. Forgive me if I leave out your favorite.

i didn't get a chance to listen to idiot's delight last nite, but it certainly sounds as if rich left his own stamp on the show and it should be interesting indeed, can't wait to hear the archived version...where else could i hear sounds from the 20s and 30s and commander cody and his lost planet airmen? --don thornton :P

Ah, "Stardust." My favorite Crosby recording. He really stretches himself with this one.
