Most of these links are tied to music, and so is this one...almost. Strongtree Coffee Roasters opened a few months ago in my town, Hudson, right across from the AMTRAK station. It's run by a very nice couple, Nora and Chris. I was struck by their constantly-spinning turntable, and yesterday Chris and "Facebook" friend Tommy S., carried out the family Victrola. I swapped 78s and needles for caffeine, so you can enjoy Louis Prima, Ella and Fletcher Henderson with your brews.

The first Nash I ever considered buying, a 1950 Ambassador found in a PA car dealer's warehouse, belonged to Denny Fleck. Denny worked for Malcolm Forbes, and may have been his personal balloon pilot. Thirty or more years later, a Google turned up Denny, and he's still up in the clouds:
